Special Needs Ministries

Children and adults with special needs, especially those with cognitive function challenges respond tremendously well to Bible stories done using Simply The Story. Allowing them to engage and respond to questions keeps them active and involved. In a group, there is always such a spectrum of ability levels that someone will certainly be able to retell the story when asked, and many will speak up and offer tremendously deep insights as the story is studied. 

Sadly, this group of people is so often looked upon as non-functional and unable. However when give the opportunity to learn a story presented with actions, expressiveness and interactively, they not only fully engage, they remember the story days and weeks later. 

Simply The Story is a fabulous way to disciple and minister to those with cognitive deficiencies.
